Noteworthy Love Notes

We all love love, right? Even when we’re feeling jaded we still have something or someone we love, like our dog, or mom. And while our dog may not appreciate a Valentine’s Day card our mom, bestie, or lover sure will, especially one hand-made by the talented women at Noteworthy Paper & Press in Missoula.

Adorned with artwork drawn in-house, Noteworthy cards are printed with vintage letterpresses onto 110lb. cotton Crane & Co. paper. Run your fingers across the imprint of type and image in the luscious paper and you can feel the devotion that went into crafting them.

Company co-owner Taylor Valliant is the master of the machines. She operates her circa 1950s Vandercook #4 Proof and Heidelberg presses with the skill and ease of a lion tamer. The Valentine’s Day card designs she and her business partner Amy Dolan produce range from the passionate to the sweet or whimsical. My favorites read: “How wonderful life is while you’re in the world,” and, “Even if there were no gravity… I’d still fall for you.”

You will fall for these cards and they will make your valentine roar with delight, so put away the card stock, doilies, and Sharpies and deliver the love this Valentine’s Day with a love note that’s Noteworthy.
