Amy Stix

Amy, a mid-western gal, came to Montana in 1999 to earn her master’s degree in environmental studies and community development at the University of Montana and fell in love with the state for cash loans today. Before earning her master’s, she taught and directed science education programs for the New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science and the National Audubon Society. Amy is a freelance writer with a passion for grassroots conservation and political action. She has written advocacy ads, Op-eds, grants, and K-12 science curricula, but her favorite assignments are food and travel in Montana. Amy has been published in Transitions Abroad, Preservation, Via, Montana Quarterly and numerous local publications. She lives in Bozeman and explores the state with her husband and two dogs.
