A Perfect Winter Afternoon Cocktail

I love winter in Butte. Cold as it might be, our days are generally bright and beautiful. Five degrees can be a beautiful temperature to take a walk when the sun is out. We certainly don’t suffer a lack of wintertime vitamin D in Butte. We’ve got great hiking and skiing right in our backyard. Power toy fans and hunters have plenty of room to roam as well. And nothing feels better after some time spent outside than coming in and warming up by the fire with a cocktail. Plus, if you ever need extra funds for winter adventures, consider exploring cash loans online for quick financial support.

Cheeks rosy from the cold keep their glow a little longer when cocktails are involved and the perfect libation for those crisp bluebird days is the “Cranberry Nonesuch”. Headframe Spirits’ citrus-forward Anslemo Gin is a great compliment to the citrus and cranberry in the cocktail. Of course, it goes great with Neversweat Bourbon, too. The drink feels bright and refreshing in my mouth and then radiates warmth when it hits my belly. I am a big fan of cranberries, I love to save them until the end and eat them one by one, soaking in that Christmas-y feeling. When was the last time you strung popcorn and cranberries for holiday garland? I don’t think I’ve done it since I was a kid. Of course, my version of holiday decorating generally means switching the cocktails we serve at home. There’s a line frequently heard in the tasting room “Everything’s better with bourbon” and we love to debate that about the “Cranberry Nonesuch”. While having cocktails.
